The&#38;nbsp;Diamond Shaped EP
Unearthed
	On Nathaniel Eras' evolving music series project stemming from earlier conceptual works, a series of 3 releases are slated for release titled 'Omniaglyph 0,1 &#38;amp; 2. The LA-based producer offers a sonic triptych and averts any strict notions of genre, diving headfirst into deeper, esoteric soundscapes and embracing the moodier elements that have punctuated his catalog by pairing mystic beauty against a bleak, industrial and dystopian compositions. Taking an instinctual approach to his music, Eras' creative process merges sounds, patterns, and textures intending to open discussion and connect disparate musical ideas.With a zeal for noise, minimalism, and dizzying sense of rhythmic prowess - the 'Omniaglyph' triptych wields power with restraint reminiscent of the adventurous post-human atmospheres of Autechre and the dark growling sound design of Ben Frost or Jóhann Jóhannsson. Riding the fine line between drone squall and euphoric ambient explorations, Eras' latest is a potent tangling of film score abstractions with spectral electronics. While much of 'Omniaglyph' is a solitary effort, there are collaborative experiments with live instrumentation featuring saxophone (Scott Page of Pink Floyd), electric viola (Kathia Rudametkin), modular synths by (Samur Khouja) and musique concrète tape loops (Ana Reptiliana). &#38;nbsp;

A curious debut of dark and immersive soundsystem electronics, schwarzmodul's first offering
crosses the frayed wires of doomed out dub, mangled techno, dark ambience, and bass
mutations. There is a shifting sense of unease in the disorienting, glitchy atmospheres. Wall-
shaking kicks and mostly spare rhythms serve as both metronome and glue for the intriguing
sound collage sourced from "distorted data dumps, failed backups, and gurgling analog gear".

Thriving on a subtly menacing tension, strangled synths and the sound of fizzling chords are
woven into "Subraze" and "Jader Burn”, teasing out haunting and unintelligible vocal snippets to
heighten the drama on the latter. schwarzmodul stretches out into more exploratory territory with
the funereal, off-kilter "Heave" and the polyrhythmic industrial dub stylings on "Variform". The
increasingly startling atmospheres of “Scramble” build over a tribal structure. The enveloping
beatless closer “Fade To Black” traverses exotic motifs, simmering drones, and buzzing harmonic
swells.

This is the first release from the LA-based producer, who recently co-produced on the new Robot
Koch album out now on Monkeytown. Robot Koch returns the favor re-imagining
schwarzmodul’s “Subraze” into a hypnotic, rolling off-kilter techno exploration.

Fragments
Fragments Remixed
Everett
Mastered by Slowdive’s Simon Scott, Everett is the second full length album from body / negative, the solo project of Andy Schiaffino.

The album’s eight tracks were developed in collaboration with peers from the experimental ambient community. Notably, Madeline Johnston, under the moniker Midwife, co-produced tracks "sleepy,” “ataraxia,” and the titular “everett.” Sleepy also incorporates field recordings from Randall Taylor, the Portland-based artist who performs under Amulets. “persimmon,” the album’s sixth track, is joined by Justin Maranga of Dune Altar Records and Lionel Williams (Vinyl Williams). Persimmon was later co-produced and mixed by Megan Searl, an audio engineer who has worked with Lana Del Rey and Atticus Ross.

The album was initially set to be recorded in Midwife’s studio in Las Cruces, New Mexico, however, tragedy befell when Andy's father fell terminally ill. As a result, most of the album was written and recorded while Andy looked after their father in hospice. The work is tinged with themes of love and loss, echoing the sentiments of body / negative’s last opus, Fragments, from 2020. The artist dedicates Everett – in its entirety – to their late mother and father.

The Bleeding Coast
Dusk Light Echo
You stumble slowly into the high tide. The waves and freezing blackness roar around you. A baptism by immersion. What came before is a distant memory. You’ve never felt more at peace in the maelstrom.
While still sulking through the shrouded alleys that connect industrial, black metal, and dark ambient music, “The Bleeding Coast” is a new mutation for Wilshire Corridor. The heavy rhythms and vocals prominent on their first album, “The Fig &#38;amp; The Wasp”, have dissipated, leaving only a viscous murk in their place. Heavy, churning drones fill the void, creating an impenetrable darkness. Feedback and distortion ripple and crack at the edges. The anxiety, weight, and unease give way to moments of calm - an almost melancholy resignation to the elements. With this new album, Wilshire Corridor has created the perfect soundtrack for being dragged into the frigid depths and swallowed whole.

A curious debut of dark and immersive soundsystem electronics, schwarzmodul's first offering crosses the frayed wires of doomed out dub, mangled techno, dark ambience, and bass mutations. There is a shifting sense of unease in the disorienting, glitchy atmospheres. Wall-shaking kicks and mostly spare rhythms serve as both metronome and glue for the intriguing sound collage sourced from "distorted data dumps, failed backups, and gurgling analog gear".Thriving on a subtly menacing tension, strangled synths and the sound of fizzling chords are woven into "Subraze" and "Jader Burn”, teasing out haunting and unintelligible vocal snippets to heighten the drama on the latter. schwarzmodul stretches out into more exploratory territory with the funereal, off-kilter "Heave" and the polyrhythmic industrial dub stylings on "Variform". The increasingly startling atmospheres of “Scramble” build over a tribal structure. The enveloping beatless closer “Fade To Black” traverses exotic motifs, simmering drones, and buzzing harmonic swells. This is the first release from the LA-based producer, who recently co-produced on the new Robot Koch album out now on Monkeytown. Robot Koch returns the favor re-imagining schwarzmodul’s “Subraze” into a hypnotic, rolling off-kilter techno exploration.schwarzmodul's debut is music that functions best at high volume.Press quotes:LA-based artist schwarzmodul produces the kind of glitchy electronics most suited to the industrial decay of the city he has made home. It's a bent form of techno, a soundtrack to "big city machinery and sonorities, dilapidated architecture, circuits, and ghostly faces."’- XLR8R

Releases April 7th, 2023

Seven years since his debut EP, schwarzmodul returns with obscura spe.Having developed his sound since his self-titled debut through many hours spent in his bunker-like studio, this long in the making new collection of six tracks was mostly realized using a variety modular synthesis. Several of the tracks started out as long improvisations, before being painstakingly molded and edited into their final form.schwarzmodul’s obscura spe takes the listener on a warped, distorted and dark ambient journey, one, naturally, in part inspired by recent worldwide events, but specifically by his experiences living in close exposure and relation to Los Angeles’ severe unhoused crisis, something which has left deep and lasting impressions.obscura spe, or ‘dark hope’, reflects his feeling that, while refusing to abandon hope for a better and more equal future for humanity, it’s nevertheless shrouded in darkness and the mystery of the human condition.Artwork by schwarzmodulLayout by TNRTNR012</description>

On Nathaniel Eras' evolving music series project stemming from earlier conceptual works, 3 unique yet symbiotic releases are slated for release titled 'Omniaglyph 0,1 &#38;amp; 2. The LA-based producer offers a sonic triptych and averts any strict notions of genre, diving headfirst into deeper, esoteric soundscapes and embracing the moodier elements that have punctuated his extensive catalog by pairing mystic beauty against a bleak, industrial and dystopian compositions. Taking an instinctual approach to his music, Eras' creative process merges sounds, patterns, and textures intending to open discussion and connect disparate musical ideas.

With a zeal for noise, minimalism, and dizzying sense of rhythmic prowess - the 'Omniaglyph' triptych wields power with restraint reminiscent of the adventurous post-human atmospheres of Autechre and the dark growling sound design of Ben Frost or Jóhann Jóhannsson. Riding the fine line between drone squall and euphoric ambient explorations, Eras' latest is potent tangling of film score abstractions with spectral electronics.&#38;nbsp;Released May 14, 2024

Produced and Mixed by Nathaniel Eras. Mastered by Samur Khouja at Seahorse Sound Studios.Cover art design concept by Lucid Interval and Nathaniel Eras.
